Python Developer:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Python Developer for a permanent role. This position is a remote position available Canada-wide.

Python Developer - Job Description:
As part of the Association, the Python Developer will work on developing modern, API-driven applications and user-facing platforms to support the organization's mission to combat insurance fraud. This involves designing and implementing REST-based APIs, integrating with third-party vendor APIs, and contributing to serverless ETL pipelines.

Python Developer - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Python applications with a focus on user-facing features
• Build interactive web interfaces ensuring responsive, accessible, and performant UI/UX
• Design and implement clean, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs
• Develop serverless, event-driven backend services using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
• Integrate AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Aurora, S3, CloudFront, and CloudWatch
• Collaborate with product and design stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive user workflows
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in API design, UI development, and testing

Python Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5–7+ years of professional software development experience, primarily using Python
• Strong experience building API-driven applications and web-based user interfaces
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with modern application architecture patterns

Python Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Reflex.dev
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and front-end usability
• Experience delivering responsive, user-centric web applications
• Experience with authentication patterns (Cognito, OAuth, MFA)
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace
