QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing for an 18-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing - Job Description:
The project involves performing Quality Engineering activities to support enterprise-scale data transformation and modernization within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data testing initiatives, ensuring compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.

QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing - Responsibilities:
• Be an advocate for quality in the project lifecycle.
• Write moderate to complex code/scripts to test systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain a modular, extensible, and reusable test automation framework.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to develop a test approach.
• Report defects and prioritize testing of projects effectively across various businesses.
• Conduct root cause analysis of post-production issues.
• Introduce and influence overall process improvements.

QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience, preferably in a banking environment.
• Experience with Customer data and Customer systems, preferably in a mainframe environment.
• Experience with testing data transformations, data migrations, and batch jobs.
• Evaluate test results, resolve defects with development teams.
• Jira and Confluence experience to create test cases.

QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with API testing.
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages (Python, Javascript, Java).
• Previous experience with SQL and Mainframe.

QA Test Analyst, Banking -UAT/Data Testing – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is from ASAP to October 31st, 2027, with a possibility of extension.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office per week.
