QE Lead:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a QE Lead for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

QE Lead - Job Description:
We have a new requirement within our team for a QE Lead to oversee quality engineering processes and ensure the highest standards of software quality. The role involves leading the development of automated testing frameworks and implementing testing strategies to support product releases.

QE Lead - Responsibilities:
• Lead API testing efforts (REST/SOAP)
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure quality standards
• Create and manage test strategies, plans, and execution reports
• Validate databases using strong SQL skills
• Integrate CI/CD tools into testing processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with testing processes

QE Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering
• Strong experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP)
• Hands-on experience in test automation using Python
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
• Strong SQL/database validation skills
• Experience with source control tools such as Git
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

QE Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with performance and non-functional testing

QE Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.

QE Lead - Start Date:
ASAP.

QE Lead - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
