Release Train Strategist:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Release Train Strategist for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Release Train Strategist - Job Description:
The Release Train Strategist will coordinate and guide the planning, deployment, and delivery of software across various teams within the organization. The role focuses on ensuring the release train operates smoothly, adhering to schedules, and meeting the business's predetermined goals.

Release Train Strategist - Responsibilities:
• Facilitate program increment (PI) planning sessions, ensuring alignment of team objectives with the organizational vision.
• Monitor progress across teams to ensure adherence to timelines and manage interdependencies within the release train.
• Proactively identify and resolve obstacles and issues that affect release schedules and product quality.
• Work with product management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and capabilities for forthcoming releases.
• Encourage collaboration and improve communication between teams, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
• Generate and report key metrics to track release train performance and ensure continuous delivery is optimized.

Release Train Strategist - Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of Project Manager, Scrum Master, RTE experience
• Project or feature delivery experience within the payments industry involving payment networks or mobile wallet providers
• Strong working knowledge of Scaled Agile
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payment processing – authorizations, settlements, and clearing
• Strong and clear communication (written and verbal)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong facilitation skills

Release Train Strategist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Scrum Master, PMP, Safe Agile certifications
• Prior Banking experience
Release Train Strategist – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
