Release Train Strategist:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Release Train Strategist for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Release Train Strategist - Job Description:
The Release Train Strategist will facilitate release processes, coordination, and execution within a Safe Agile environment, supporting product groups in Asset Management. The role involves coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters to adopt new processes and mindsets for achieving agility.

Release Train Strategist - Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize the flow of value through releases using Scrum and Kanban tools
• Facilitate PI Readiness, System Demos, and PI Planning meetings
• Coordinate delivery of Features, considering dependencies, order, and architecture
• Summarize and publish Team PI Objectives aligned with Vision and OKRs
• Track and produce key metrics and dashboards to monitor releases
• Facilitate synchronization meetings to align delivery with business outcomes
• Escalate and track impediments, manage risks and dependencies
• Provide input on required resourcing to support the release
• Coach and promote collaboration to enable high performance

Release Train Strategist - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer/Strategist
• Post-secondary education (university is preferred)
• Proficient in Agile management tools – Confluence, Sharepoint, and Jira
• Banking or financial institution experience
• Very strong and clear communication (written and verbal)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence

Release Train Strategist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• RTE Safe Agilist certificate, Scrum Master certification (preferred), PMP (asset)
• Prior Asset Management and Wealth experience is highly preferred

Release Train Strategist – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
