Release Train Strategist:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Release Train Strategist for a 12 month contract  role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Release Train Strategist - Job Description:
The Release Train Strategist will coordinate and guide the planning, deployment, and delivery of software across various teams within the organization. The role involves ensuring the release train operates smoothly, adheres to schedules, and meets the business's predetermined goals, particularly in regulatory projects.

Release Train Strategist - Responsibilities:
• Facilitate program increment (PI) planning sessions, ensuring alignment of team objectives with the organizational vision.
• Monitor progress across teams to ensure adherence to timelines and manage interdependencies within the release train.
• Proactively identify and resolve obstacles and issues that affect release schedules and product quality.
• Work with product management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and capabilities for forthcoming releases.
• Encourage collaboration and improve communication between teams, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
• Generate and report key metrics to track release train performance and ensure continuous delivery is optimized.

Release Train Strategist - Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of RTE experience
• 2+ years of Regulatory experience
• 10+ years Project/Program Management experience (technology delivery, end to end)
• Scaled Agile experience
• Jira experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong time management, priority management skills

Release Train Strategist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Financial Acumen experience
• Banking or financial institution experience
• Previous TD experience (specifically TD wealth)
• Safe Agile certification

Release Train Strategist – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 contract position with a possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid with 4 days in office and 1 day work from home.
