Report Developer - Junior:
On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Report Developer - Junior for a 4 month contract role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Report Developer - Junior - Job Description:
The Government of Ontario is undertaking a large-scale Data & AI transformation initiative with the Ontario Data Platform. The project involves developing data solutions to support data-driven decision-making and analytics across government organizations. The role will involve working with modern cloud technologies to build scalable data pipelines and deliver high-quality data products.

Report Developer - Junior - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Develop data ingestion frameworks for the Ontario Data Platform.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for analytics and reporting.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain notebooks and workflows using Databricks.
• Design and manage data solutions utilizing Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Participate in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Report Developer - Junior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark-based frameworks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy principles.
• Experience with REST APIs and application integration patterns.

Report Developer - Junior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of data cataloguing and metadata management.
• Understanding of medallion architecture patterns.
• Experience in the public sector.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Report Developer - Junior – Assignment Length:
This is a 4 month contract position.

Report Developer - Junior - Start Date:
ASAP.

Report Developer - Junior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
