Retail Operations Analyst:
On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Retail Operations Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Princeton, NJ office.

Retail Operations Analyst - Job Description:
The Retail Operations Analyst will support Retail Billing Operations by ensuring accurate, timely customer transactions, account maintenance, and monthly billing. The role involves working within customer management systems and using data tools to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Retail Operations Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Develop a thorough understanding of the electricity and gas customer lifecycle.
• Process daily operational tasks and electronic transactions with vendors/utilities.
• Monitor and resolve transaction and billing exceptions within established SLAs.
• Use reporting and analytical methods to identify issues and maintain compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis to address exceptions, errors, and process gaps.
• Research and analyze complex business problems using software tools.
• Support execution of new business and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for transaction and billing questions.
• Create and maintain clear process documentation and deliver training as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams, management, external vendors, and utilities.

Retail Operations Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor Degree from accredited university.
• 2-4 years Operations or Back Office related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SQL.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• High attention to detail; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Retail Operations Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• College degree in business or related area.
• Working knowledge of deregulated energy market.
• Previous energy/utility industry experience.
• Proficient in SharePoint, Power BI, and SQL Server Management Studio, SAP.
• Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.

This is a 12-month contract position.
