Risk Analyst - Intermediate:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Risk Analyst - Intermediate for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Risk Analyst - Intermediate - Job Description:
The Risk Analyst will support the Blue Rewards business unit within Governance & Controls – P&B Canada by managing operational risk and control lifecycle activities. This new initiative involves developing and enhancing control documentation, procedures, and testing methodologies to strengthen the control environment and risk management framework.

Risk Analyst - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance control documentation and procedures for operational risk management.
• Establish and implement testing methodologies to ensure control effectiveness.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align on control design and implementation.
• Manage end-to-end control lifecycle activities, including control evidence collection and audit readiness.
• Support the strengthening of the control environment within the Blue Rewards program.
• Ensure control evidence is reliable, verifiable, and compliant with audit standards.
• Contribute to new initiatives within the operational risk and governance framework.

Risk Analyst - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• 3–5 years of experience with technology controls, including IT risk, access management, change management, or technology control frameworks in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong operational risk management background.
• Experience in control design and implementation from start to finish.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Risk Analyst - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with other financial institutions.
• Knowledge of control frameworks.
• Experience with technology controls.
• Exposure to loyalty or rewards programs such as Blue Rewards (formerly Air Miles).

Risk Analyst - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Risk Analyst - Intermediate - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days in the office per week.
