Risk Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Risk Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Risk Analyst - Job Description:
The Risk Analyst will provide independent risk oversight and effective challenge within GRCE across key risk management activities. This role involves administering and maintaining technology and information security risk program activities, ensuring adherence to applicable policies and procedures.

Risk Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Review new business initiatives and monitor existing ones to identify potential risk situations/impacts
• Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of the risk framework
• Coordinate and participate in oversight/governance activities, including reporting and training development
• Consult with stakeholders to enhance risk measurement, metrics, and reporting consistency
• Support the development and maintenance of the governance system and framework
• Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
• Maintain tools and templates for risk programs and standards
• Develop and maintain knowledge of business and related risk management requirements

Risk Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field
• Working knowledge of information and technology risk management practices
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk policy frameworks
• Technical proficiency and strong verbal & written communication skills
• Collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Influence skills and data-driven decision-making

Risk Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
• Familiarity with Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) processes
• Knowledge of business continuity planning standards
• Experience in third-party risk management
• Understanding of quality control/testing frameworks

Risk Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and potential for full-time employment.

Risk Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
