Risk Analyst
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Risk Analyst for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Risk Analyst - Job Description:
The Risk Analyst will focus on effective and efficient mitigation of counterparty credit risk, overseeing the security lending business. The role involves close collaboration with various departments such as credit, middle office, legal, and more to ensure comprehensive risk management.

Risk Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Daily monitoring of client portfolios and managing collateral calls
• Ensuring accurate entry of margin tickets into the collateral system
• Extensive interaction with clients
• Conducting process reviews in accordance with Global Short-term Markets Policy
• Resolving and escalating collateral issues
• Reconciling repo collateral statements upon margining disputes
• Contributing ideas for process improvement and risk management
• Performing control functions to maintain process integrity

Risk Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of capital market or collateral management experience
• Strong fixed income background
• Good Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Self-starter with a high degree of initiative
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills

Risk Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CFA or FRM certification

Risk Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid position with 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home.
