Sales Application Engineer:
On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Sales Application Engineer for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Charlotte, NC office.

Job Description:
The Sales Application Engineer will serve as the technical bridge between the Sales and Order Processing teams in the USA and the Engineering team in Italy. The role involves supporting customer applications, conducting technical evaluations, configuring products, and preparing quotations.

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to the Sales team and support customer application requirements.
• Review customer drawings, technical specifications, and application requirements.
• Coordinate technical requests and solutions with the Engineering team in Italy.
• Support technical studies, product configurations, and quotations.
• Ensure technical information is accurately transferred to Sales and Order Processing.
• Support the resolution of technical issues throughout the order process.
• Provide technical and commercial support for Algra activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical sales and order coordination processes.

Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, application engineering, or technical sales support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual/C2-level English proficiency is mandatory.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in industrial machinery or manufacturing.
• Italian language proficiency is a plus.
