Salesforce Developer:
On behalf of our utilities client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce Developer for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office. Remote work is considered for Canada-based candidates.

Salesforce Developer - Job Description:
The Salesforce Developer will be part of our client's Projects & Application Support department, working on the MyAccount Phase 3 project. This involves enhancing the Salesforce backend to support a headless React front end, focusing on developing and integrating solutions within the Salesforce platform.

Salesforce Developer - Responsibilities:
• Customize and develop Salesforce applications by designing, coding, and deploying custom Salesforce components.
• Integrate systems and data by building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
• Collaborate on requirements and design by working closely with senior developers and stakeholders.
• Conduct quality assurance and testing, including developing unit tests and participating in peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and support Salesforce applications by monitoring, debugging, and resolving issues.
• Maintain security and data integrity by following Salesforce security best practices.
• Create documentation and provide training on new Salesforce features.

Salesforce Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with hands-on development of Apex triggers/classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
• Strong programming skills in Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Proficient in SOQL/SOSL queries and web technologies like JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
• Experience with Salesforce development tools and frameworks such as VS Code with SFDX and Git.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills within the Salesforce platform.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Salesforce Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Salesforce Administrator certification or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with advanced Salesforce products like B2B Commerce or CPQ.
• Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integrating with external databases or services.
• Experience with JIRA and various project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security best practices.

Salesforce Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position running from September 2026 to December 2027.

Salesforce Developer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Salesforce Developer - Assignment Location:
Hybrid position requiring 3 days in office in our client's Calgary or Edmonton office. Remote work is considered for Canada-based candidates.
