Salesforce DevOps Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Salesforce DevOps Engineer - Job Description:
The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting the ideation, design, development, and implementation of software to drive continuous improvement within the CB Salesforce ecosystem. This role involves maintaining and supporting environments and deployments to production, ensuring the seamless integration and evolution of Salesforce platforms, including Financial Services Cloud and nCino managed package.

Salesforce DevOps Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using Git-based workflows
• Manage multi-environment release strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod)
• Coordinate scheduled releases, hotfixes, and emergency deployments
• Ensure deployment activities follow audit, security, and compliance standards
• Manage Salesforce metadata lifecycle using source control (Git)
• Handle sandbox strategy (creation, refresh, data masking)
• Resolve deployment conflicts related to Profiles, Permission Sets, Record Types, Page Layouts, Flows, Apex, and dependencies

Salesforce DevOps Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of overall work experience in a related field
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce metadata deployments
• Experience with Git-based source control
• Understanding of Salesforce limits, metadata dependencies, and deployment constraints
• Experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, AutoRabit, or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment failures and dependency issues

Salesforce DevOps Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Salesforce Platform Developer experience
• Experience with Unlocked Packages / Managed Packages
• Exposure to Salesforce DX
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (banking, insurance, healthcare)
• Salesforce certifications (PD1, Advanced Admin, DevOps-related certs)

Salesforce DevOps Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until October 31st.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in the office.
