On behalf of our Transportation client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce Specialist for a short term contract role. This position is a remote position located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Salesforce Specialist - Job Description:
The project involves cleaning up and properly setting up Salesforce for two teams in SR&C — Government Relations and Community Engagement. The focus is on auditing licenses, reviewing user permissions, configuring workspaces, and integrating Slack for meeting capture.

Salesforce Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Audit all current Salesforce licenses against actual active users and reclaim/deactivate licenses as needed.
• Review existing profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy to ensure appropriate access levels.
• Configure tabs, objects, and record types for the Government Relations team's workflow.
• Set up a dedicated workspace/app for the Community Engagement team, configuring objects, views, and dashboards.
• Produce "how to use" guides for both Government Relations and Community Engagement workspaces.
• Set up a Slack-Salesforce integration to capture meeting notes/discussions.

Salesforce Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce license management and auditing.
• Proficiency in configuring Salesforce user permissions and role hierarchies.
• Ability to configure Salesforce workspaces and objects.
• Strong documentation skills for creating user guides.
• Experience with Slack and its integration with Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Salesforce Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Government Relations or Community Engagement workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce-Slack integration tools.
• Knowledge of Salesforce dashboards and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of licensing cost implications for Salesforce and Slack.
