IT SAP Integration Consultant
On behalf of our Client, Procom is actively seeking an IT SAP Integration Consultant for a 12 month Hybrid contract in Burnaby, BC 

IT SAP Integration Consultant Job Details 

We are seeking a senior SAP Integration Technical Consultant to support and enhance enterprise SAP integration services in a completed RISE with SAP and S/4HANA environment.

The role will provide Level 3 sustainment, technical consulting, solution delivery, and production support across SAP BTP Integration Suite and related enterprise integration platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, integration flows, adapters, mappings, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Experience with API based integration, secure connectivity, and enterprise integration support is required. Experience with SAP Integration Suite Advanced Event Mesh and event driven architecture is a strong asset.

The consultant will troubleshoot complex production issues, design secure and maintainable integration solutions, improve operational support practices, guide other consultants, and work across business, functional, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.

IT SAP Integration Consultant Mandatory Skills 

• A minimum seven (7) years of working experience in SAP Integration development, project implementation, and production support, with:
• ???????five (5) years in a tier-3 production support position dealing with other functional and technology teams
• five (5) years of SAP integration experience including end-to-end process - from requirements to production turnover
• five (5) or more years of SAP PI/PO development / administrative experience - NW 7.5+, or equivalent.
• Perform sustainment and system maintenance activities by troubleshooting SAP PI issues, documenting issue resolution, and creating user assistance tools to ensure adequate performance for all SAP PI integrations across the organization
• Design high quality, sustainable solutions by identifying, creating, and presenting business process improvements and feasible technical options following industry best practices and BC Hydro standards and guidelines
• Independently research, investigate, and resolve SAP integration issues by collaborating with other development and sustainment support teams while providing timely status updates to the team lead on all work requests and issues
• Support multiple sustainment and project teams by recommending, testing, and implementing improvements and fixes to SAP integration solutions and to the existing standards, processes and guidelines to continuously improve SAP integration efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance, advice, assistance, consulting, and leadership to the team consisting of other consultants in terms of work management and architecture and technology best practices so that projects and initiatives are completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent
• Expert skills in the following areas
• Integration concepts
• SAP PI/PO administration as well as development
• Incident management process and software such as BMC ITSM or SAP Solution Manager 7.2+
• Change management process and software such as Solution Manager
• Multi-middleware environment
• Waterfall and agile development methodology
• ITIL methodology o Java development
• Leadership
• Excellent skills in SAP Cloud integration, an asset
• Excellent communication skills for professional environment, written and spoken
