SAP IS OIL & Gas with SD and MM Lead/Principal Specialist:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an SAP IS OIL & Gas with SD and MM Lead/Principal Specialist for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Calgary office.

SAP IS OIL & Gas with SD and MM Lead/Principal Specialist - Job Description:
Responsible for managing and providing SAP support to Sunoco Logistics users within functional and technical areas of expertise. This role involves interacting with users to understand requirements, evaluating alternative solutions, resolving issues, and documenting system changes to ensure all business levels are informed.

SAP IS OIL & Gas with SD and MM Lead/Principal Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities to ensure project goals are accomplished within defined constraints.
• Research production problems and make appropriate configuration changes to the system.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead for all IS-OIL functions.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed SAP functional specifications and design.
• Provide advice and guidance to the business on various approaches by explaining industry best practices.
• Develop and conduct SAP training and knowledge transfer to Sunoco Logistics business clients.
• Ensure that changes/enhancements are completed using appropriate SOX control processes.

SAP IS OIL & Gas with SD and MM Lead/Principal Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry with IS Oil experience.
• Demonstrated enterprise-level project management experience implementing SAP.
• Expert knowledge of SAP IS/OIL, ECC 6.0.
• Expert knowledge of sales and distribution, and shipment actualization and invoicing functions in SAP.
• Demonstrate ability to design and configure SAP in areas of expertise.
• Functional knowledge of integration with Finance modules.
• Strong knowledge and experience with IS Oil downstream business processes.

SAP IS OIL & Gas with SD and MM Lead/Principal Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with paper deal processing.
• Good understanding of the integration points between the modules and their dependencies.
• Knowledge of SAP releases and patches, including applying OSS notes.
• Experience in SAP full project life cycle implementations.
• Ability to recommend and implement approved process improvements or new functionality.
