Job Description

On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a SCRUM Master - Senior for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Southlake, Texas office.

SCRUM Master - Senior - Job Description:
The SCRUM Master - Senior will manage the Scrum process within software development teams, helping them adopt and improve on the Scrum methodology. The role involves coaching teams to higher levels of maturity and ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework, while facilitating Scrum training for all team members.

SCRUM Master - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Serve as a servant leader and Scrum framework authority for development teams
• Remove impediments to help teams achieve their Sprint goals
• Ensure visibility of team progress and successes to all stakeholders
• Support Product Owners in backlog and release plan maintenance
• Facilitate creativity, empowerment, and self-organization within teams
• Organize and facilitate Scrum meetings such as backlog grooming and Sprint planning
• Encourage teams to inspect and adapt, and establish a predictable team cadence
• Track and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders

SCRUM Master - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Servant leadership and ability to lead by example
• Strong communication and social skills
• Demonstrated success in scaling AI-assisted software development
• Thorough understanding of Scrum processes and Agile principles
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Experience in a software development environment with cross-team dependencies
• Ability to resolve conflicts and facilitate discussions

SCRUM Master - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Scrum Master certification
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, DAD, Nexus)
• Previous experience as a project or program manager
• DevOps experience with continuous integration and delivery tools
• Strong grasp of software development and technology
