Scrum Master:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Scrum Master for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Scrum Master - Job Description:
The Financial Crimes Unit is looking for a certified Scrum Master to join the Fraud Technology team. This role involves supporting agile delivery of enhancements within Fraud applications, focusing on optimizing delivery practices and executing initiatives in a high-pressure, FinTech/Asset Management environment.

Scrum Master - Responsibilities:
• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more squads; facilitate all ceremonies and drive continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and protect teams from external distractions.
• Keep teams accountable to a bi-weekly continuous release and improvement plan.
• Lead the execution of initiatives using the adopted methodology.
• Monitor and track team performance using method-specific metrics.
• Adhere to bank’s Agile Standards and Practices, applying PMLC & SDLC.
• Manage Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery progress.
• Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement and prioritization.

Scrum Master - Mandatory Skills:
• Agile Certification (CSM®, PSM® or equivalent).
• 7+ years in delivery roles, including 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Proven capability operating across Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Expert-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Track record leading large, cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.
• In-depth verbal and written communication, and influence skills.
• GTA Location – reasonable distance to office.

Scrum Master – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• FinTech experience.
• Pega experience.

Scrum Master – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite at our client’s office.
