Security Analyst – Intermediate:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Security Analyst – Intermediate for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Analyst – Intermediate - Job Description:
The Security Analyst – Intermediate role is focused on a critical project regarding ITSEC governance and compliance. This role involves ensuring cybersecurity management and risk management are effectively implemented in alignment with organizational standards.

Security Analyst – Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Conduct vendor risk assessments and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes
• Implement and maintain ITSEC governance and compliance frameworks
• Engage in IT Project Delivery or Operations to ensure security measures are upheld
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity strategies
• Monitor and report on security risks and compliance issues

Security Analyst – Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IT Security/Cybersecurity
• Professional security management certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CISA)
• Experience in vendor risk assessments and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
• Experience in risk management and cybersecurity management in IT
• Experience in IT Project Delivery or Operations

Security Analyst – Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with ITSEC governance and compliance in the public sector
• Familiarity with payment systems and related security protocols
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment

Security Analyst – Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position from October 2026 to April 2027.

Security Analyst – Intermediate - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
