Security Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Security Analyst for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Analyst - Job Description:
This project supports business-as-usual activities with a focus on cyber technology compliance. The role involves interacting with subject matter experts to resolve security compliance issues across diverse security technologies and platforms.

Security Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Monitor and triage reports and dashboards identifying security non-compliant assets.
• Create and follow runbooks to notify, track, and escalate non-compliant issues.
• Partner with technology teams to identify solutions, track progress, and escalate roadblocks.
• Provide technical expertise in the development and support of information security activities.
• Research, design, and implement application security solutions and practices.
• Direct testing of security plans and evaluate new security systems and technologies.

Security Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Clear understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model.
• ServiceNow Vulnerability Response / Configuration Compliance Operations experience.
• Experience building simple queries in ServiceNow and Splunk.
• Compliance operations or vulnerability management experience.
• Cyber security/Information security/IT operations experience.
• Risk management experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Security Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience creating dashboards in ServiceNow.
• Jira experience.
• PowerBI experience.
• Crowdstrike experience.
• IT Audit / Technology Risk assessment experience.

Security Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.

Security Analyst - Start Date:
ASAP.

Security Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home, with the potential to switch to 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
