Security Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Security Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Analyst - Job Description:
The Security Analyst will be involved in access management, focusing on identifying and mitigating potential security breaches. The role requires participation in developing security management strategies and frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting technology processes to manage security threats.

Security Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on Technology Controls and Information Security programs
• Analyze applications for access breaches and documentation inaccuracies
• Support the development of security management strategies
• Implement governance practices for monitoring security threats
• Develop Technology Risk reporting and metrics
• Investigate regulatory compliance requirements
• Participate in security incident responses
• Adhere to internal policies and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to process improvements and risk management culture
• Enhance knowledge of emerging issues and industry trends
• Manage requests submitted on ServiceNow, ensuring timely processing

Security Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• ServiceNow experience
• Jira experience
• MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Strong data analysis and governance skills
• Access Management expertise
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time and priority management skills

Security Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Automation knowledge (Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Experience in large organizations

Security Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Security Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days in the office per week.
