Security Architect, Threat Modeling - AI/LLM-Based:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Security Architect, Threat Modeling - AI/LLM-Based for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Architect, Threat Modeling - AI/LLM-Based - Job Description:
The project involves developing an automated, AI-assisted platform to modernize and scale threat modeling. The Security Architect will focus on moving from manual assessments to continuous, data-driven risk identification across applications, APIs, and cloud environments.

Security Architect, Threat Modeling - AI/LLM-Based - Responsibilities:
• Research and prototype AI/LLM-based approaches to improve threat identification, risk scoring, and security insights
• Document findings and provide clear, actionable recommendations to engineering teams
• Conduct threat modeling sessions for applications, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Design and develop components of an AI-assisted threat modeling platform
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, and architecture teams to integrate security into development workflows

Security Architect, Threat Modeling - AI/LLM-Based - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of expertise in threat modeling and secure architecture design
• Proven ability to design and build scalable security platforms and automation frameworks
• Ability to design AI-assisted or data-driven security solutions
• Experience with application security tooling and practices, including SAST, SCA, and CI/CD-integrated security controls
• Strong system thinking, including analysis of architecture diagrams, data flows, and trust boundaries
• Ability to translate complex security problems into automated workflows and reusable components

Security Architect, Threat Modeling - AI/LLM-Based – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with agentic threat modeling approaches
• Working knowledge of threat modeling methodologies
• Ability to break down complex systems into data flows, components, and trust boundaries
• Ability to translate abstract threats into clear, actionable guidance for engineering teams

This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
