Security Engineer SSO - mid level:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Security Engineer SSO - mid level for a contract-to-hire role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Southlake, TX office.

Job Description:
This role involves enhancing the security infrastructure of our client's systems and applications. The candidate will work on implementing and managing security measures, focusing on emerging threats and ensuring robust protection mechanisms are in place.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain security solutions using scripting and Python.
• Manage and configure Kubernetes environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, specifically using Ping Federate.
• Monitor and respond to emerging security threats.
• Collaborate with teams to create detection mechanisms for potential security threats.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network security tools and technologies.

Mandatory Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker technologies.
• Experience with Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Linux, Firewalls, VPN, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with HYPR affirm/passwordless technologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with DDOS mitigation and traffic profiling.
• Knowledge of wireless security and VoIP security.
• Problem-solving aptitude.

Assignment Length:
This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for a full-time role.

Assignment Location:
Southlake, Texas, United States. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in the office. Secondary locations include Austin, TX, or Phoenix, AZ.
