Security Service Tech (Dallas):
On behalf of our Security Services client, Procom is searching for a Security Service Tech (Dallas) for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Dallas, Texas office.

Security Service Tech (Dallas) - Job Description:
The Security Service Tech will be responsible for installing, configuring, programming, and testing security and life safety systems. The role involves daily travel to customer locations, handling approximately two projects per day, and ensuring all installations meet company standards and safety requirements.

Security Service Tech (Dallas) - Responsibilities:
• Travel directly to customer locations in a company vehicle, working independently or in small teams.
• Install, configure, program, and test security and life safety systems.
• Diagnose system issues, perform repairs, upgrades, and system cutovers.
• Read blueprints, utilize software tools, and maintain accurate project records.
• Communicate progress, delays, and concerns to Project Managers and customers.
• Ensure installations meet company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Lift equipment, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Manage daily responsibilities, resolve technical issues, and deliver quality work with minimal supervision.

Security Service Tech (Dallas) - Mandatory Skills:
• Ability to travel to customer locations daily.
• Experience with installation and programming of security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in small teams.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and work in various environments.

Security Service Tech (Dallas) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Texas Security License.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements across Texas municipalities.
• Experience in managing complex security system integrations.
• Knowledge of compliance standards in the security industry.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
