Job Description

Security Strategy Specialist:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Security Strategy Specialist for a 10-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Strategy Specialist - Job Description:
Reporting to the Acting Manager, Security Strategy, the Security Strategy Specialist will provide strategic, analytical, coordination, and communications support. The role involves managing and preparing reports and presentation materials for senior leadership forums, and researching external trends to inform our client's Security strategy.

Security Strategy Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Support the development and expansion of cybersecurity narratives through executive-level communications and presentations.
• Coordinate and prepare materials for key security forums such as the Security Council and Business Unit Risk Committees.
• Compile key reports and presentation materials for meetings, forums, and client/external engagements.
• Research security trends and emerging technologies/risks, translating them into business insights.
• Assist in developing the global security strategy with a focus on emerging technology over a three-year view.
• Contribute to the development of micro-strategies and business cases for strategic investments and ROI.

Security Strategy Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree/college diploma in Business Administration, Communications, IT, or related disciplines, or equivalent co-op work experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technology and/or business writing.
• Excellent MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content for senior executives.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in reporting.
• Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work in a global team environment with various stakeholders.

Security Strategy Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with executive/senior management communications.

Security Strategy Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 10-month contract.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid with 2 days in-office.
