On behalf of our security client, Procom is searching for a Security Tech for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Reno, Nevada office.

Security Tech (Reno) - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Security Tech to join their security business unit, focusing on the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge security systems. The role involves working on physical security systems, ensuring their integration and functionality within various facilities.

Security Tech (Reno) - Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation and configuration of physical security systems, including cameras (CCTV), access control systems, and alarm systems
• Pull and route low-voltage cables to support security systems installation, ensuring organization and safety standards
• Work with the installation team for system integration within the data center
• Help with the physical installation of security devices, including mounting and connecting power and data cables
• Install and secure electrical conduit and cable trays according to specifications
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to security system installations
• Collaborate with electricians and other trades during installation activities
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures while on the job site
• Assist in maintaining accurate installation records and documentation
• Ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards for quality and security

Security Tech (Reno) - Mandatory Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of work experience in Access Control, Camera Systems, and Fire Systems
• Lenel certified
• Prior experience with cable pulling, conduit installation, and other electrical work
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems and cable termination
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and tool usage

Security Tech (Reno) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the healthcare or data center industries
• Familiarity with advanced AV technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Security Tech (Reno) – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
