Security Technician:
On behalf of our security client, Procom is searching for a Security Technician for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Essex Junction, Vermont office.

Security Technician - Job Description:
Join our client in enhancing safety, security, and communication through innovative technology solutions. As a Security Technician, you will be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced security systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

Security Technician - Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation and configuration of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Pull and route low-voltage cables to support security systems installation, ensuring organization and adherence to safety standards
• Collaborate with the installation team for smooth system integration within data centers
• Support the physical installation of security devices, including mounting and connecting equipment
• Install and secure electrical conduit and cable trays according to design specifications
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to security system installations
• Work closely with electricians and network specialists to coordinate installation activities
• Follow safety regulations and procedures on the job site
• Maintain accurate installation records and ensure quality control

Security Technician - Mandatory Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of work experience in Access Control, Camera Systems, and Fire Systems
• Lenel certified
• Experience with cable pulling and conduit installation
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems and cable termination
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and tool usage

Security Technician – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Experience in the healthcare or data center industries
• Familiarity with advanced AV technologies
• Experience in a global service environment
