Senior AI Engineer:
On behalf of our Automotive client, Procom is searching for a Senior AI Engineer for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.

Senior AI Engineer - Job Description:
The primary purpose of the Senior AI Engineer role is to leverage advanced data engineering and AI system architecture skills to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI solutions that address complex business challenges. This role is crucial in transforming raw data into actionable insights and intelligent applications that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Senior AI Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for AI solutions to solve business problems.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions, including classic AI, deep learning, and generative AI.
• Leverage machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch for model development.
• Develop and maintain the codebase for models using AIOps/MLOps tools such as Watson Studio and GitHub.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify relationships and trends in data.
• Partner with data governance and data modeling teams to source, manage, and govern model data and related processes.

Senior AI Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing data science and AI applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as IBM watsonx, AWS SageMaker, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.

Senior AI Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Cloud AI Platform Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices like MLflow, Kubeflow, or Azure ML.
• Background in SQL experience and data integration/processing concepts, including ETL processes.

Senior AI Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is an 8 month contract position.

Markham, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid with 4 days in office.
