Senior Angular Developer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Angular Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Senior Angular Developer - Job Description:
The project involves modernizing the front-end architecture across the Angular application portfolio. The focus is on extracting and decoupling shared layout, navigation, and theming from Metronic, repackaging it as an internally owned, versioned component library for use across multiple applications.

Senior Angular Developer - Responsibilities:
• Audit current Metronic usage across applications to distinguish template boilerplate from app-specific customization.
• Design and build an in-house shared Angular library for navigation, theming, and layout shell.
• Define a migration path from direct Metronic dependency while preserving existing UX.
• Remove or replace legacy jQuery-based template scripting with native Angular component equivalents.
• Establish a strategy for unblocking Angular version upgrades.
• Collaborate with teams to coordinate a phased rollout of the shared library.
• Set up tooling for component documentation, visual regression testing, and versioning/release of the shared library.

Senior Angular Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of professional Angular development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Bootstrap 5 and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with third-party admin templates/themes in production apps.
• Solid understanding of Angular component-driven, reactive approaches.
• Experience versioning and distributing internal packages via a private registry.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Experience with incremental/parallel migration strategies.

Senior Angular Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior experience with Metronic.
• Experience building internal design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with Kendo UI Angular components.
• Background in enterprise/regulated environments with multiple coordinated Angular applications.
• Exposure to Azure AD/MSAL-based authentication flows in Angular apps.

Senior Angular Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time employee.

ASAP.

Senior Angular Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with required in-office presence every Thursday and one Friday per month.
