Senior Application Support Analyst:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Application Support Analyst for a maternity coverage role approved through 10/7/2027. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Senior Application Support Analyst - Job Description:
The Senior Application Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Foreign Exchange (FX) Derivatives and Risk Applications. This role involves ensuring application stability, efficiency, and effectiveness, and requires in-depth understanding of integrating subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.

Senior Application Support Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and business support for FX Derivatives and Risk Applications.
• Maintain and support application systems during daily operations.
• Manage application environments with a focus on stability, quality, and functionality.
• Conduct start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers.
• Perform same-day risk reconciliations and develop technical support documentation.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate as needed.
• Participate in application releases and post-implementation analysis.
• Act as a liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors.
• Coach and train new recruits and act as an advisor to other analysts.

Senior Application Support Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5-8 years experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience with installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills.
• Good analytical skills for filtering and prioritizing information.
• Technical skills in Linux, Database/SQL, and Networking.
• Ability to plan and organize workload effectively.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

Senior Application Support Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with programming languages and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of problem management tools.
• Basic understanding of any scripting language.
• Experience in batch management and monitoring tools.
• Ability to communicate technical issues in simple terms.

Senior Application Support Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract role.

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada - Hybrid with 3 days in office.
