Senior Applications Developer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Applications Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Applications Developer - Job Description:
The Senior Applications Developer will join the Market Historical Storage (MHS) team at the bank to work on a new stress test enhancement project. The role involves developing and maintaining automation solutions and business reporting tools to support the secure collection and management of historical market data.

Senior Applications Developer - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to streamline data processes.
• Build and optimize business reporting tools for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical support and customer service to internal clients.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to drive continuous improvement.

Senior Applications Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years proven experience in software engineering, preferably in financial services or data management.
• 5+ years of experience with .Net, C# (version 8 or higher).
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, TSQL, SSMS.
• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, GIT, DevOps.
• 2+ years of Data Bricks experience.
• Experience with automation frameworks, data reporting tools, and database technologies.

Senior Applications Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Senior Applications Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

ASAP.

Senior Applications Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work arrangement with 1 day in the office per week and an additional day per month.
