Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer for a contract role until December 24, 2027. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer - Job Description:
The project involves scaling enterprise AI across various platforms including Microsoft Foundry, Databricks, and Azure OpenAI. This role focuses on developing practical platform controls and automated guardrails in alignment with AI governance and risk management frameworks.

Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Apply safe deployment practices, including automated builds and rollback strategies
• Develop operational runbooks and incident response guidance
• Partner with AI Governance and Privacy teams to implement responsible AI outcomes
• Implement secure AI patterns and authentication flows
• Define and operationalize AI delivery models and integrate suitable models
• Build and maintain pipelines for model lifecycle management
• Translate AI governance requirements into technical controls
• Own reliability, observability, and cost tracking of AI services
• Onboard teams and provide technical mentorship

Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with production systems and designs for failure
• Debugging skills in distributed systems
• Proficiency in writing modular, testable code
• Knowledge of generative AI and enterprise AI application patterns
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps and cloud-native engineering
• Understanding of NIST AI RMF and responsible AI principles
• Proficiency in Python

Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in regulated environments
• Experience with financial services or asset management
• Collaboration experience with Enterprise Architecture and Governance teams
• Familiarity with cloud cost management
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry and Databricks

Senior Applied Intelligence Platform Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until December 24, 2027.
