Senior Associate Risk Analytics:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Associate Risk Analytics for a 9-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Associate Risk Analytics - Job Description:
As a Senior Associate in Risk Analytics, you will support the team in independently monitoring and accurately reporting client’s market and credit risk, focusing on reporting and projects. The role involves enhancing the fund’s integrated risk system and supporting monthly risk system upgrade initiatives related to the design, testing, and delivery of technology solutions for investment risk.

Senior Associate Risk Analytics - Responsibilities:
• Perform daily analysis, reporting, and monitoring of the fund’s VaR/ETL, Greeks, and backtesting for active and asset risk at the total fund level.
• Maintain and enhance BI reporting suite and various in-house risk analysis tools.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues around risk reporting and perform market data quality checks.
• Collaborate with Risk and Enterprise Operation to define and review business requirements.
• Review and conduct UAT testing of changes to the enterprise risk system.
• Ensure internal control processes are documented and train other team members.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new products and reporting requests.

Senior Associate Risk Analytics - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years’ experience in a risk management function at a major financial institution.
• Solid knowledge of risk measurement and derivatives pricing.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python.
• Strong analytical skills with problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Senior Associate Risk Analytics – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with change management lifecycle.
• Experience with FIS Adaptiv.
• Relevant Master’s degree (e.g., Financial Mathematics, Business/Finance).
• CFA or FRM designation.

Senior Associate Risk Analytics – Assignment Length:
This is a 9 month initial contract with potential renewal until the end of 2026.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 4 days onsite per week.
