Senior AWS Resilience Consultant:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior AWS Resilience Consultant for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior AWS Resilience Consultant - Job Description:
As a Senior AWS Resilience Consultant, you will lead the operationalization of AWS Next Generation Resilience Hub (AWS RH) for the Bank’s Resiliency Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work with new AWS resilience technologies and help launch a brand-new service capability for the bank.

Senior AWS Resilience Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and operationalize cloud resilience solutions leveraging AWS RH and other AWS services
• Lead end-to-end delivery including solution design, development, testing, implementation, and production readiness
• Deploy services using AWS CDK to provision components and enforce least-privilege IAM
• Define the operating model, processes, standards, and governance required for enterprise adoption of AWS RH
• Partner closely with Cloud Engineering, Cyber Security, and Architecture teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption
• Manage delivery planning, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications
• Conduct Proof-of-Concept (POCs), analyze results, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders

Senior AWS Resilience Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or related technology roles
• Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud resilience patterns
• Strong proficiency in AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) approaches
• Extensive experience in resilience engineering domains such as High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Strong understanding of enterprise governance and security/risk processes
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and engineering workflow tools

Senior AWS Resilience Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
• Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and chaos engineering practices
• Experience creating executive presentations and operational support materials

Senior AWS Resilience Consultant – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.
