Senior Business Analyst:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst for a contract role. This position is a remote position with a preference for candidates based in Alberta, Canada.

Senior Business Analyst - Job Description:
This project involves the migration of the Finance and Risk Data Platform (FRDP) to SAP Fioneer while modernizing core financial systems. It is a transformational initiative aimed at upgrading and integrating various financial processes.

Senior Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with and lead discussions among Managing Director-level stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Capital Markets to drive consensus and project outcomes.
• Lead business analysis activities by planning, gathering, and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Bridge the gap between diverse stakeholder groups by translating Risk models into Finance entries and technical IT specifications.
• Lead "Data Archeology" efforts to map legacy infrastructure and define Global Blueprints for Multi-GAAP accounting rules.
• Conduct gap analysis to assess differences between current and desired states.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and detailed functional specifications to capture system requirements.
• Maintain a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix to ensure all regulatory and business needs are tracked throughout the lifecycle.
• Guide and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the system meets business expectations and regulatory standards.
• Proactively identify and document potential challenges such as data lineage gaps, accounting event complexities, and non-functional requirements.

Senior Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong mastery of business analysis methodologies, from requirement gathering to UAT.
• Ability to lead, influence, and drive decision-making at a Senior Leadership level.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a complex, transformational project environment.
• Ability to bridge the language gap between risk modeling, accounting policy, and IT implementation.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Professional presence to influence and guide Managing Director-level leadership.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Senior Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with SAP Fioneer.
• Knowledge of Multi-GAAP accounting rules.
• Familiarity with ETL, APIs, and JSON schemas.
• Experience in data lineage and accounting event complexities.
• Ability to work in a remote, team-oriented environment.

Remote, with a preference for Alberta-based candidates but open to anywhere in Canada. Hybrid work may require onsite presence only for team meetings in Calgary, Alberta.
