Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives - Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the Tardis Waterfall P&L Attribution Project, focused on computing daily profit & loss (P&L) attribution for derivatives portfolios across key risk factors. This project involves new development and enhancement of existing systems to improve P&L attribution accuracy.

Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Product Control, and Financial Engineering teams.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Canada, particularly Product Control teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into clear specifications for development teams.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and process diagrams.
• Perform gap analysis between current and target states and propose scalable solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Leverage domain expertise in equity and fixed income products to support project success.
• Operate within an Agile environment, participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Support production issue analysis and resolution.
• Utilize RiskWatch as the pricing engine.

Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience with documentation and ability to create workflow diagrams.
• 5+ years’ experience in capturing business requirements for building a Derivative Products Trading Application.
• 5+ years’ experience with market data used to price derivative instruments.
• 5+ years’ experience with Trade Life Cycle for derivative products.
• 2+ years’ experience with risk watch pricing engine.
• Familiar with end-to-end trade workflows among the Front, Middle, and Back Offices systems.

Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Advanced Knowledge of derivative financial instruments related to Equity Options, Interest Rate Swap, Cap/Floor, Inflation asset swaps.
• Unix Scripting.
• Python Scripting.
• Pl/SQL.
• Automated testing experience.

Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Derivatives – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position to February 28, 2027, with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.
