Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets:
On behalf of our Edmonton client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets for a 4 to 7 month contract role. This position is remote our client’s Edmonton, AB office.

Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets - Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of capital market operations. The role involves collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to optimize buy-side capabilities and investment workflows.

Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets - Responsibilities:
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for investment systems and workflows
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to ensure alignment of business needs
• Analyze and improve existing systems and processes within capital markets
• Provide expertise in the end-to-end lifecycle of public or private market securities and investments
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders

Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets - Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in capital markets with emphasis on buy-side capabilities, workflows, and systems (5 years)
• Expertise in the end-to-end lifecycle of either public market or private market securities and investments (5 years)
• Experience working with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for investment systems and workflows (5 years)

Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Demonstrated experience supporting the implementation, configuration, and ongoing 
enhancement of investment management platforms (e.g., Aladdin, eFront, SimCorp Dimension, 
Bloomberg AIM/PORT, etc.) (3 Years)

• Demonstrated experience working with Cleared and  OTC derivatives, Repos, and other complex instruments (3 years)

• Demonstrated experience working with Cleared and OTC derivatives, Repos, and other complex instruments (3 years)

Senior Business Analyst Capital Markets – Assignment Length:
4-7 months
