On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst – Fixed Income (Capital Markets) for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Analyst – Fixed Income (Capital Markets) - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Capital Markets, specifically focusing on Fixed Income products and trading. The role involves working on enhancing and supporting Fixed Income trading systems and processes, ensuring clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Senior Business Analyst – Fixed Income (Capital Markets) - Responsibilities:
• Gather, elicit, and document clear, detailed functional and business requirements for Fixed Income trading systems and processes.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (trading desk, front/middle office) and technical delivery teams.
• Translate complex Fixed Income product and trading workflows into well-structured requirements documentation.
• Lead or support requirements workshops with business and trading stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements are clear, unambiguous, and actionable for downstream development and testing teams.
• Support solution validation, UAT, and change management activities related to Fixed Income systems and processes.
• Work collaboratively with technology, trading, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Senior Business Analyst – Fixed Income (Capital Markets) - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ continuous years of experience working exclusively as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets, with a specific focus on Fixed Income products and trading.
• Strong, demonstrated experience writing and gathering clear, detailed functional requirements.
• Deep subject-matter knowledge of Fixed Income products, trading workflows, and related business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working directly with trading desks.
• Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in downtown Toronto (flexible on specific days, though most business stakeholders are in Tuesday–Thursday).

Senior Business Analyst – Fixed Income (Capital Markets) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Specific trading systems experience.
• Regulatory reporting exposure.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

This is a 6 month contract position.
