Senior Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Analyst - Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will support strategic Distribution Technology initiatives focused on business process modernization, workflow optimization, and client acquisition capabilities. The role involves working closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, manage backlogs, and support Agile delivery utilizing Pega-based solutions.

Senior Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
• Analyze current and future state business processes and workflows.
• Create user stories, process maps, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Manage and maintain Agile backlogs in Jira.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on prioritization and sprint planning activities.
• Support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and manage requirement clarification throughout project delivery.

Senior Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Senior Business Analyst within large enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• 3+ years of experience working with Pega platforms.
• Strong Jira experience.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Stakeholder management.

Senior Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Pega Business Architect (CPBA) certification.
• Pega System Architect (CSA) certification.
• Previous experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Experience supporting Distribution, Retail Banking, Cards, Lending, or Client Acquisition initiatives.
• PMP certification.

Senior Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time employee.

ASAP.

Senior Business Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 2 days in the office.
