Senior Business Analyst:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Analyst - Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will work on electronic health-related projects within the public sector. The role involves engaging with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and requirements, as well as advising on best practices in business analysis to ensure consistent practices across the organization.

Senior Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
• Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
• Prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards.
• Coordinate and conduct business analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities.
• Develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
• Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, and data modeling for assigned projects.
• Monitor progress, resolve problems, and report regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders.

Senior Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 8 years’ business analysis experience working in electronic health-related projects
• Experience working in the public sector, preferably in a health care setting
• Experience with Project Management concepts
• Experience conducting business modeling and use case modeling
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Public Sector Experience

Senior Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Ability to translate business and data requirements into technology solutions
• Experience in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
• Familiarity with QA and experience working closely with QA teams
• Knowledge of application security and privacy standards
• Understanding of Information Management principles and practices

Senior Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.
