Senior Business Consultant (Tax):
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Consultant (Tax) for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Consultant (Tax) - Job Description:
This project involves leading and integrating Customer Tax Programs Delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing user and customer experience. The consultant will work closely with cross-line-of-business partners to define a future state centered on regulatory requirements.

Senior Business Consultant (Tax) - Responsibilities:
• Provide subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of Customer Tax Programs
• Integrate and coordinate regulatory change from a business perspective across the enterprise
• Consult with Legal, Risk, & Compliance to determine regulatory applicability
• Ensure robust monitoring and controls are developed within the project
• Provide strategic input and recommendations based on relevant regulations
• Identify and resolve project risks and roadblocks
• Support change management and communication efforts

Senior Business Consultant (Tax) - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business management or program management
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and policies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to navigate challenging situations effectively
• Experience in project delivery practices and standards
• Collaboration and teamwork skills
• Data-driven decision-making abilities

Senior Business Consultant (Tax) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of FATCA/CRS Requirements and Income Tax Act
• Experience in financial institutions or banking environments
• Familiarity with tax reporting systems
• Strategic mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to manage ambiguity

Senior Business Consultant (Tax) – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
