Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle - Job Description:
The role involves building trade services and enhancing technology solutions for OTC derivatives across various asset classes. The candidate will work on trade reporting regulatory projects and process improvements within trading applications.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle - Responsibilities:
• Drive initiatives to build and enhance platforms for OTC derivatives
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers for solution design
• Perform data analysis using SQL and support integration efforts
• Support UAT planning and execution, troubleshoot defects and production issues
• Build strong partnerships with Trading, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and QA teams

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle - Mandatory Skills:
• 4-5 years as a Business Systems Analyst in Capital Markets
• Experience with OTC derivatives and trade lifecycle
• Strong SQL and Excel skills
• Data mapping and transformation validation experience
• Requirements gathering (User Stories, BRDs, FRDs)
• UAT support, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• FpML, FIX, REST APIs, and JSON knowledge
• Python for data analysis
• Experience with Murex or Calypso
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
• Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Jira, and Confluence

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time.
