On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data, Mainframe for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data, Mainframe - Job Description:
This role involves joining a collaborative team responsible for enabling and evolving Money Movement capabilities, including Interac e Transfers, Wires, and Global Transfers. The analyst will work on projects that involve data analysis, defect fixes, and enhancements, contributing to both execution and the strategic direction of solutions.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data, Mainframe - Responsibilities:
• Translate business needs into technical concepts for technical teams and vice versa
• Plan, manage, and lead the delivery of system requirements
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions and assess impacts
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
• Support testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the delivery of technology requirements
• Promote innovation and provide operational and process-related analysis

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data, Mainframe - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of BSA, Software Engineer, Quality Engineer experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe data
• Strong experience within Scaled Agile framework
• Strong understanding of Behavior Driven Development for writing user stories
• Strong experience using Jira and Confluence
• Strong testing and gap analysis skills
• Strong Stakeholder Management skills

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data, Mainframe – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Interac payment experience
• API/Postman experience
• Microsoft 365 Copilot/Github Copilot experience
• Previous banking or financial experience

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data, Mainframe – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
