On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Payments, Fraud/Risk Controls for a 4-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Payments, Fraud/Risk Controls - Job Description:
You will be joining the bank's Enterprise Payments Technology team, supporting a cloud migration initiative and product upgrade for a Payment Hub application. The role involves leading business and systems analysis activities for strategic initiatives and operational priorities, ensuring business needs are translated into actionable requirements.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Payments, Fraud/Risk Controls - Responsibilities:
• Be the strategic voice on agile teams by advising on scope, priorities, and risks.
• Build strong relationships with business, product, operations, and technology stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and document complex business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate sessions to elicit requirements and translate them into user stories and process flows.
• Support solution design discussions ensuring alignment with business needs and technology standards.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Payments, Fraud/Risk Controls - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation experience.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SQL, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within banking, payments, or fintech.
• Knowledge of payments domain standards including ISO 20022 and real-time payments.

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Payments, Fraud/Risk Controls – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with mainframe platforms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a 4-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to FTE.
