On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Communications Specialist for a temporary role.

Senior Communications Specialist - Job Description:
The Senior Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering clear, engaging internal and external communications that support corporate priorities. This role involves partnering with leadership, business units, and subject matter experts to execute strategic communications and enhance communication platforms and tools.

Senior Communications Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and cross-functional partners
• Develop and implement strategic communications plans aligned with business goals
• Support corporate initiatives, employee engagement, and organizational change
• Collaborate across teams to drive messaging consistency
• Create high-quality content such as articles, presentations, newsletters, and scripts
• Maintain editorial calendar across intranet, website, and newsletters
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight
• Add content to internal communications platforms, especially SharePoint

Senior Communications Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in communications (corporate or agency)
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content development tools
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Senior Communications Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in B2B communications
• Familiarity with managing distribution lists
• Experience with SharePoint enhancements
• Collaborative, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
• Adaptable and focused on continuous improvement
