Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power for a 3-4 months role. This position is a remote position with the client’s office located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power - Job Description:
Capital Power is seeking a senior cybersecurity consultant to lead a Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) readiness discovery engagement focused on building a comprehensive Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) across the enterprise IT environment. The consultant will perform discovery, assessment, documentation, and stakeholder engagement activities to identify where cryptographic controls, certificates, encryption algorithms, key management systems, and third-party products rely on legacy cryptography that may require future remediation as PQC standards mature.

Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power - Responsibilities:
• Lead Post Quantum Cryptography readiness discovery engagement
• Build a comprehensive Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM)
• Conduct discovery, assessment, and documentation activities
• Engage with stakeholders to identify cryptographic controls and systems
• Produce executive summary and recommendations

Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years cybersecurity experience
• Expertise in cryptography and PKI
• Experience with Post Quantum Cryptography readiness assessments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Ability to work independently in a remote engagement
• Experience in cryptographic inventory development
• Strong stakeholder interviewing capabilities

Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience within Energy & Utilities or Power Generation industries
• Familiarity with NIST PQC standards
• Knowledge of ML-KEM and ML-DSA
• Certified Cloud Security Professional certification
• Experience leading discovery workshops

Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Capital Power – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for approximately 3-4 months.
