Senior Data & AI Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Data & AI Engineer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Data & AI Engineer - Job Description:
The Senior Data & AI Engineer will be involved in developing and maintaining data and AI solutions for IAM Intelligence. The role involves triaging pipeline failures, optimizing SQL for reporting, and building AI workflows. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions and ensure AI governance.

Senior Data & AI Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Triage overnight pipeline failures and resolve data quality issues
• Write and optimize complex SQL across Trino, Snowflake, and SQL Server
• Build and iterate on MCP server tools and AI workflows
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, Spark, and DBT
• Translate IAM business rules into queryable data models
• Collaborate with IAM analysts and stakeholders
• Run QA test cases and monitor AI governance controls
• Review and merge GitHub PRs; maintain CI/CD workflows
• Update technical documentation

Senior Data & AI Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in Python for AI and data tooling
• Advanced SQL skills across Snowflake, Trino, SQL Server
• Experience with Snowflake + Cortex AI
• Knowledge of MCP Server Architecture
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (Claude/Anthropic, GPT)
• Experience with LangChain, RAG Pipelines, Vector DBs
• Proficiency in Apache Airflow and DBT

Senior Data & AI Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Knowledge of CyberArk / BeyondTrust
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka
• Experience with SharePoint reporting integration
• Proficiency in Tableau BI

Senior Data & AI Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office each week.
