Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Requirements Lead – FP&A):
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Requirements Lead – FP&A) for a 5-month role. This position is a remote position with no onsite requirement at our client’s Chicago Heights office.

Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Requirements Lead – FP&A) - Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to lead Business Intelligence requirements within the Finance organization. This role involves acting as the key liaison between FP&A stakeholders and BI development teams, focusing on gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications to deliver effective reporting and analytics solutions.

Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Requirements Lead – FP&A) - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with FP&A stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for BI and analytics solutions.
• Translate complex financial planning concepts into technical requirements.
• Serve as the primary bridge between business users and BI development teams.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive business and functional requirements documentation.
• Partner with Power BI developers to ensure dashboards and reports meet business expectations.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Utilize SQL and Python for data analysis and validation.
• Promote best practices in requirements management and BI solution delivery.

Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Requirements Lead – FP&A) - Mandatory Skills:
• 5-8 years of FP&A experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and business intelligence reporting solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Requirements Lead – FP&A) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with financial regulatory reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of data validation and quality assurance techniques.
• Proven ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience facilitating workshops in complex financial environments.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial data and BI solution delivery.
