Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake - Job Description:
The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in our client's enterprise data platform strategy, focusing on building scalable data products and ensuring robust data governance. The role involves designing and implementing secure, high-performance data solutions using Snowflake and other cloud-native technologies.

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake - Responsibilities:
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for data, cloud, and software engineering needs.
• Collaborate with technical leads to align engineering decisions with the strategic vision of Pan-SLC.
• Build scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
• Evaluate and implement system integrations supporting the client's vision for data-as-a-product and enterprise data discovery.
• Partner with DBTS and enterprise engineering teams to identify, evaluate, and deploy tools and technologies.
• Establish and enhance DevOps practices to improve developer experience and time-to-market.
• Work with analysts, business stakeholders, and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in data-driven organizations on large-scale, end-to-end data initiatives.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud data ecosystems, including Snowflake.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
• Expertise with AWS services such as S3, EC2, EKS, Glue, SageMaker, Athena, and Redshift.
• Experience designing APIs and microservices.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
